The first Bluebell RailwaySussex Bus and Coach Daytook place on Sunday 4th July 2004 at Sheffield Park Station

Vehicles booked to come to this event ranged from the vintage to the modern-day, and are were vehicles which have been based in or used in Sussex.
Brighton and Hove have named two buses "William Stroudley" and "Oliver Bulleid"
The intention had been for these two buses to be positioned along side steam locomotives designed by these two engineers, but unfortunately rail access problems from the loco yard into the display area thwarted this.
